Centrepiece CLA

The Centrepiece CLA, also known as Fill the Hole, took place every Wednesday at lunch from April 3 to May 8, 2019. The students who participated in this Contextualized Learning Activity transformed four outdated pots from the Biotech SHSM hallway's tables into terrariums. To do this, the inside fillings of the original pots were first removed. Then, rope was cut and glued around the rims of the pots (after an unsuccessful attempt at painting the rim white) with a glue gun. Next, a dome was glued on top of each pot and filled with various plastic plants, as well as artificial sand and rocks. Finally, a custom-made SHSM cover was glued onto each pot to enclose its contents.
