Here are some important dates and announcements in April 2019 for Grade 10 and 11 Biotech SHSM students:
Wednesday, April 3rd: The first session of a centrepiece CLA will begin at lunch in the SHSM hallway and run for six weeks. Pre-sign up is not required, just attendance.
Tuesday, April 9th: There will be a Mental Health Session from 8:45 AM to 10 AM in Room 264. This is mandatory for Grade 11s but optional for Grade 10s. Breakfast will be provided. There is a sign-up sheet outside the SHSM office.
Wednesday, April 10th: The second session of the centrepiece CLA will take place at lunch in the SHSM hallway.
Thursday, April 11th: The first session of the product packaging and design CLA will take place at lunch in the SHSM hallway. Pre-sign up is not required, just attendance.
Friday, April 12th: There will be a Rock Climbing field trip for Grade 10s and 11s from 11:45 AM to 3:15 PM. Please pick up forms from the SHSM office. Act fast as it is on a first-come, first-serve basis and only the first 30 to sign up can attend. The cost is only $10 per student. Afterward, you will receive a fitness or group dynamics stamp, and pizza and juice will be served.
Tuesday, April 16th: The first Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship or ICE training session will take place from 8:30 AM to 10 AM in Room 264. This is mandatory for Grade 10s and Grade 11s. Breakfast will be provided. There is a sign-up sheet outside the SHSM office.
Wednesday, April 17th: The third session of the centrepiece CLA will take place at lunch in the SHSM hallway.
Thursday, April 18th: The second session of the product packaging and design CLA will take place at lunch in the SHSM hallway.
Wednesday, April 24th: The fourth session of the centrepiece CLA will take place at lunch in the SHSM hallway.
Thursday, April 25th: The third session of the product packaging and design CLA will take place at lunch in the SHSM hallway.
Tuesday, April 30th: The second Innovation, Creativity, and Entrepreneurship or ICE training session will take place from 8 AM to 8:45 AM in Room 264. This is mandatory for Grade 10s and Grade 11s. Breakfast will be provided.
