Sunnybrook Hospital P.A.R.T.Y. Program

Sunnybrook Hospital is offering SHSM students a chance to attend the P.A.R.T.Y. program.

Every P.A.R.T.Y. Ignite event will include precise and high-level information focused on topics that are most important to youth, such as: exploring risk, defining traumatic injury, understanding what impairment is and the potential negative health outcomes, building resilience and mental wellness, the rehab experience and a LIVE personal story from an individual that has experienced a traumatic incident and their journey. There will be a range of presenters who will take part in each session providing a familiarity of the traditional format of P.A.R.T.Y. Program (i.e. nurses, physio and occupational therapist ,paramedics, doctors and our Injury Prevention Ambassadors). We are hopeful that the new content and format of P.A.R.T.Y. Ignite will still have a lasting impact on the youth that take part.

This can count towards an optional certification.

If you sign up please put either Mr. Choi or Ms. Hassam as SHSM teacher.
