An all-day First Aid & CPR Training session for Biotech and Business SHSM students took place on Friday, December 13, 2019 in the small gym. Students learned a variety of skills from three former paramedics including how to assess a potentially dangerous scene, approach an unconscious patient, use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and perform chest compressions on infants, children, and adults.

Overall, students gained a greater appreciation for the work done by first responders and other health care professionals through this training session and are now ready to apply their knowledge in the real world.
